The Assessment tab is where you record what the patient's problem is, what you found when you examined them, and what you think is going on.

The sections on this tab

  • Impression — your clinical impression and the patient's primary symptom.
  • Patient Complaints — the chief complaint, related symptoms, and onset details.
  • Cardiac Arrest — only if the patient was in cardiac arrest.
  • Trauma — only if the call involved an injury.

For most calls you fill in Impression and Patient Complaints. The Cardiac Arrest and Trauma sections only become relevant when the call type calls for them.
