Opening the flags for one claim
Click Claims in the menu. Any claim with open flags shows a flag badge on its row. Click the badge to open the QA Flags for Claim modal, which lists every flag for that claim in one place.
What the modal shows
At the top, a summary row shows how many Critical, Warning, and Info flags are open. Below that, each flag has:
- The flag code and description — what the problem is.
- The severity — Critical, Warning, or Info.
- The category.
- The source.
- An SOP Reference link, when the QA rule has one attached. This gives you step-by-step guidance on how to fix the problem.
Taking action from the modal
Each open flag has three buttons: Resolve, Dismiss, and Add Note. Click Add Note to open a text box below the flag, type your note, then click Resolve or Dismiss. Resolved and dismissed flags drop off the list, and a "Show resolved flags" link at the bottom lets you review them afterward.
SOP references
Some QA rules have linked SOP references. These are documents your administrator has attached that explain the correct procedure for fixing that type of issue. If you see a SOP Reference link on a flag, click it to open the SOP before you make changes.
Example
On the Claims list, you see a claim with a red "3" flag badge. You click it and the modal opens: one Critical flag ("No insurance payer on claim"), one Warning ("Transport miles not entered"), and one Info with an SOP Reference link ("Non-emergency transport — confirm prior auth"). You open the claim in another tab, fix the payer and miles, read the SOP to confirm the prior auth is on file, then click Resolve on all three flags and add notes.
