CloudPCR can fax a PCR straight to a hospital. This is the fastest way to deliver a copy of the report when the receiving facility wants one before they file the patient's chart.

Send a fax

  1. Open the PCR.
  2. Click the fax option.
  3. Pick the facility you want to fax to. The fax number fills in if the facility has one on file in your demographics.
  4. If you need a different number, type it in.
  5. Click Send.

Tracking

CloudPCR keeps a record of every fax it sends. You can check the fax log to see if a fax went through, when it was delivered, and how many pages it sent. If a fax failed, the log tells you why.

An example

You finish a STEMI transport and submit the PCR. The cath lab calls and asks for a copy right away for their case file. You open the PCR, click fax, pick the receiving hospital from the list, and click send. Two minutes later the cath lab confirms they got it. Total time: under a minute.
