Certifications expire. The Renewals page lists every approved certification in your agency alongside its expiration date, so no one falls out of compliance by surprise.
Viewing renewals
- Open Certifications & Licenses from the menu.
- Click the Renewals tab.
- The list sorts by expiration date, with the soonest at the top. Each row shows Employee, Certification, Expiration, and how many days remain.
Filtering by timeframe
Use the Timeframe filter to narrow the list. You can pick from:
- Next 30 days
- Next 60 days
- Next 90 days
- Past due
Days remaining also change color as a certification gets closer to expiring, so urgent ones stand out.
Sending a reminder
Click Send Reminder on a row to send the employee a notification that their certification is expiring soon. They will see it in their in-app notifications.
Requesting a renewal
Click Request Renewal to send the employee a longer message with specific instructions about what to submit. You can include a note explaining what documentation you need.
Following up on overdue certifications
Filter by Past due to see every certification that has already expired. This is the highest priority. An expired certification can affect the employee's ability to perform certain duties and can put your agency out of compliance with state or local regulations.
Example
It is February 1. You open Renewals and filter by Next 30 days. Lisa's CPR is at the top, expiring in 28 days. You click Send Reminder so she gets a notification right away. Then you switch the filter to Next 60 days and see Mark's ACLS is 55 days out. You click Request Renewal on his row and add a note about which class schedule to check. By staying ahead of each timeframe, you avoid compliance gaps.
