Once you open the HR app, the menu stays the same on every page. What appears in it depends on your role.

The employee tabs

When you land on the dashboard, a set of tabs appears at the top of the page: My Certifications, My Equipment, HR Requests, and Job Board. These are the self-service pages every employee uses.

The admin menu

If you are an HR administrator, the menu also shows an HR Management group:

  • Personnel — the people directory, overview dashboard, documents library, positions, job titles, onboarding tracker, and request inbox.
  • Equipment — the inventory catalog, issued gear, and maintenance schedules.
  • Certifications & Licenses — the credentials registry, renewals, review queue, and training hours.
  • Awards & Recognition — the awards catalog, service milestones, nominations, and history.
  • Reports — compliance, staffing, equipment usage, and export center.

Below that, an Admin Tools group contains Credential Review and Audit Log.

Settings

Settings are in the profile dropdown at the bottom of the menu. Only administrators see this option.

Two audiences, one app

The menu only shows the sections your role allows, so you will not see options that do not apply to you.

A typical day for an employee

You sign in, check whether any certifications are expiring soon, and maybe browse the job board. If you need to report a problem or ask a question, you open a new request from the HR Requests tab.

A typical day for an administrator

You sign in, review any pending certification submissions, check for overdue equipment returns, and respond to personnel requests. At the end of the week, you might run a compliance report to make sure nothing slipped through.
