The job board shows positions that your agency has opened for internal interest. If you see one you want, you can bid on it to let the hiring team know.

Browsing open positions

  1. Open the Job Board tab at the top of the dashboard.
  2. You will see a table of open postings with the position name, capability, station, shift and schedule, FTE type, and a short summary.
  3. Use the Capability filter at the top to narrow the list if your agency has posted a lot of openings.

Bidding on a posting

  1. Find the row for the position you want.
  2. Click Bid Interest in the row actions.
  3. Write a short message to HR — things like your availability, qualifications, or shift preferences (up to 500 characters).
  4. Submit the form.

Once submitted, your bid lands on the positions board where HR can review it. Submitting a bid does not guarantee you the position — it tells the hiring team you are interested.

What happens next

After you submit a bid, the process moves outside the app. Your supervisor or the hiring team will follow up with you directly. The job board is a way to raise your hand, not a full application process.

Example

Station 3 posts an opening for a driver/operator on B shift. Tom has his pump operator certification and is interested in moving to B shift. He opens the job board, reads the summary, clicks Bid Interest, and notes that he has three years of driving experience and the required certification. His captain sees the bid and schedules a conversation with him the following week.
