The compliance report is the single most important report in the HR app. It shows you everything that is out of compliance or about to be, all in one place.

What it shows

At the top, three summary cards show totals for Pending Certifications, Expired Credentials, and Overdue Equipment.

Below the cards, three lists give detail:

  • Expiring Certifications (45 days) — credentials approaching their expiration date in the next 45 days.
  • Pending Certification Reviews — the five most recent submissions still waiting for review. A long pending list means the review queue is backed up.
  • Overdue Equipment — items that were due back but have not been returned.

Opening the report

  1. Open Reports from the menu. The Compliance tab is the default view.
  2. The page loads with current data. There is no date range — it always shows the current state.

How to use it

Open this page at least once a week. Start with the Expired Credentials count — those are the most urgent. Work through Expiring Certifications next so you can send reminders before they turn into expired ones. Then check Pending Certification Reviews to make sure the review queue is moving, and finally Overdue Equipment.

Example

You open Compliance on a Monday morning. The Expired Credentials card shows 2, Pending Certifications shows 5, and Overdue Equipment shows 1. The Expiring Certifications list shows three CPR cards expiring in the next few weeks. You send reminders to the three people with expiring CPR, clear the pending reviews before lunch, and call the person with the overdue radio. By the end of the day, your compliance picture is much cleaner.

Tip: Make this a weekly habit. Problems that sit for weeks are much harder to fix than problems caught the same week they appear.
