The Documents page under Personnel is a library of every file uploaded to a personnel record in your agency. Keeping these files organized means you can find what you need in seconds instead of digging through a filing cabinet.
Document types
Documents are organized by type so you can filter and find them quickly. The built-in types are:
- Onboarding Packet
- Contracts & Agreements
- Performance Evaluation
- Credential Support
- Disciplinary / Corrective
- Medical Clearance
- Other
You can also pick Custom Type… and enter your own label when none of the built-in types fit.
Uploading a document
- Click Personnel in the menu and open the Documents tab.
- Click Upload Document.
- Pick the person the document belongs to.
- Choose the document type. If you chose Custom Type, enter your own label.
- Optional: give the document a display name. It defaults to the filename if left blank.
- Add notes if useful.
- Attach the file (PDF, JPG, PNG, DOC, or DOCX up to 10 MB) and submit.
Finding a document later
Use the filters above the table to narrow by Type, by Personnel, or both. Each row has View (for supported file types), Download, and Delete row actions.
Example
During an audit, you need every signed contract from the last year. You open Documents, filter Type to Contracts & Agreements, and download what you need. Because everything was uploaded with a clear type, it takes minutes instead of hours.
