The Accident Management page is where your fleet administrators handle every accident report submitted from the dashboard. From here you review incidents, coordinate repairs, and track insurance activity through to close.

Open the page

From the navigation, click Accident Management. This item is admin-only.

What the table shows

Each row is one accident report, with the vehicle, the date, the reporting user, the status, and any insurance claim info. There is no create button on this page — accident reports come in from the Fleet Management dashboard (or from the Unified Solutions dashboard New Accident Report quick action) and land here for admin follow-up.

Row actions

Each row has an Actions dropdown:

  • View — opens a modal with every detail of the report including photos, videos, and comments.
  • Update Investigation — see Updating an accident investigation.
  • Add Comment — adds a comment to the case. See below.
  • Upload Invoice — attaches a repair invoice with an amount.
  • Upload Insurance Document — attaches an insurance document (denial letter, claim receipt, payment confirmation).
  • Schedule Repairs — creates a Service Request with High priority and the accident details pre-filled. See Scheduling repairs from an accident.

Adding a comment

Click Add Comment to leave a note on the case. The Internal only toggle is on by default — internal comments are only visible to admins. Turn it off if the comment should be visible to everyone with access to the report.

A typical flow

  1. A driver files an accident report from the dashboard.
  2. It lands on Accident Management with status Reported.
  3. An admin opens the report, reviews the photos, and clicks Update Investigation to move it to Under Review.
  4. The admin opens an insurance claim and adds the claim number to the case.
  5. The admin clicks Schedule Repairs to create a high-priority service request for the repair shop.
  6. Invoices come in — the admin uploads them to the case with amounts.
  7. Once repairs are complete and the insurance pays out, the admin sets the status to Closed.
