When an accident has caused damage that needs repair, you can open a service request for the repair straight from the accident report. The request lands on the Service Tracker with High priority and the accident details pre-filled.
How to schedule repairs
- On the Accident Management page, find the accident report.
- Open the Actions dropdown and click Schedule Repairs. This action is only available when the report has a vehicle on it.
- A modal opens. Fill in:
- Repair Summary — what repairs are needed.
- Preferred Service Time — when you want the work to happen.
- Click Submit.
What happens next
A new service request appears in the Request Queue with priority High and a note that the source was an accident report. From there the fleet admin can schedule the appointment normally. The accident report keeps a reference to the service request so you can follow the chain later.
