When an accident has caused damage that needs repair, you can open a service request for the repair straight from the accident report. The request lands on the Service Tracker with High priority and the accident details pre-filled.

How to schedule repairs

  1. On the Accident Management page, find the accident report.
  2. Open the Actions dropdown and click Schedule Repairs. This action is only available when the report has a vehicle on it.
  3. A modal opens. Fill in:
    • Repair Summary — what repairs are needed.
    • Preferred Service Time — when you want the work to happen.
  4. Click Submit.

What happens next

A new service request appears in the Request Queue with priority High and a note that the source was an accident report. From there the fleet admin can schedule the appointment normally. The accident report keeps a reference to the service request so you can follow the chain later.
