The Crew Scheduling tile on the Unified Solutions dashboard is your shortcut into the application. It also lets you punch in and out without leaving the dashboard.
What is on the tile
The tile is split into two halves:
- Next shift -- the title, date, and time of your next scheduled shift, or "No Shift" if nothing is coming up.
- Punch clock -- a colored status dot (Punched In or Punched Out), the time you last punched in, the duration you have been punched in for, and a big Punch In or Punch Out button.
If a comment is required for the punch, a modal opens asking for a note before the punch goes through. An amber "IP-restricted -- use on-site network" note appears when your agency has IP restrictions and you are off-network.
How to use it
- Look at the tile when you sign in at the start of your shift.
- Click Punch In right from the dashboard if you do not need anything else.
- Use the open icon in the top-right of the tile to jump into the full Crew Scheduling app when you want more detail.
Tip
Make checking the dashboard tile part of your routine at the start of every shift. It takes a few seconds and tells you right away whether you are punched in and what your next shift looks like.
