Admin Scheduling is the full-screen calendar that shows every shift for every employee in your agency. This is the main tool for supervisors and schedulers to build and manage the schedule. You see this menu item only if you have the Admin role for the agency.

The sub-navigation

When you open Admin Scheduling, a second row of links appears with Full Schedule, By Employee, Templates, and Shift Bids. Full Schedule is the default calendar view.

Calendar views

The toolbar in the top right of the calendar lets you switch between month, week, day, list, and multi-month year views. Prev, next, and today buttons sit in the top left.

Creating a shift

Click on any empty day to open the day's shift management modal. From there you can open the create-shift form, which lets you enter the shift title, start and end times, end-time offset, and one or more slots (each with a qualification and optional employee).

Editing an existing shift

Click an existing shift event to open its details. You can change the times, reassign it, or delete it. The calendar refreshes when you save.

Tip

Use the week view when building the schedule from scratch. It gives you enough detail to see each day's coverage without getting lost in a single day's details.
