As a supervisor, you can view and edit timecards for everyone in the company. This is where you fix missed punches, correct errors, and set each timecard to Approved before payroll runs.

Viewing timecards

Go to Time Sheets in the navigation. The table lists every timecard with the employee, shift, role, punch in/out times, and a status selector (Pending, Approved, Denied). Filter by Pay Period, Employee, Status, or a custom date range to narrow the list.

Editing a punch

Click the Edit Punch action on a timecard row. In the modal, adjust the Punch In Time and Punch Out Time. Leave the punch-out empty if the employee is still on the clock. When you save, the system automatically writes a comment noting the original and new times.

Viewing comments

Click View Comments to see every comment attached to that timecard's punches, including comments the employee added at punch-in and the automatic change logs from prior edits.

Adding a new punch

Use the New Punch header button to create a punch for an employee who missed punching in. Pick the employee, punch-in time, shift (or leave blank for an Ad Hoc shift if your company allows it), and a required comment.

Changing approval status

Each row has a status selector you can set to Pending, Approved, or Denied. You can also select rows and use the Change Status bulk action to update many at once.

Common scenarios

Missed punch out

An employee forgot to punch out. Use Edit Punch and enter the correct punch-out time based on when they actually left.

Missed punch in

No punch exists yet. Use New Punch to create the record, attach it to the scheduled shift, and add a comment explaining why it was added manually.

Tip

Review timecards before the end of each pay period. It is much easier to fix errors while the shift is still fresh in everyone's memory than to sort it out weeks later.
