The Facilities page lists the destinations you transport patients to — hospitals, freestanding ERs, urgent cares, dialysis centers, dentist offices, anywhere a patient might end up.

Add a facility

  1. From Demographics, click Facilities.
  2. Click New Facility.
  3. Enter the facility name and type (hospital, dialysis, urgent care, etc.).
  4. Enter the address. The city field uses the address lookup.
  5. Add the fax number — needed for hospital fax delivery from a PCR.
  6. Optionally add capabilities (STEMI center, stroke center, trauma level, burn center, pediatric capable).
  7. Click Save.

Why fax numbers matter

If you fax a PCR to a hospital from inside CloudPCR, the fax number comes from this record. Filling it in once means your providers can send a fax in 5 seconds, every time.

Marking a facility as inactive

If a hospital closes or you stop transporting there, mark it inactive instead of deleting it. Old PCRs need to keep their reference to the facility, but inactive facilities will not appear in destination dropdowns on new PCRs.
