The Requests page in CAD is where every transport request your hospitals and facilities send in lands first, before it ever becomes a unit assignment. You reach it by clicking Requests in the navigation.

Tabs

The page has five tabs across the top:

  • Pending — your action tab. Every new request a facility submits lands here, waiting for you to decide what to do with it.
  • Counter-Offered — requests where you proposed a different time and the facility has not yet responded.
  • Confirmed — requests you have accepted. These also appear as a pre-populated incident on your incidents list.
  • Declined — requests you have turned down.
  • All — every request, regardless of status.

Number badge

The Requests menu item in the navigation gets a small number badge whenever new requests are sitting in the Pending tab, so you can spot incoming work from any other page in CAD without having to refresh.

Request cards

Each request shows up as a card. The card lays out everything you need to decide on the request:

  • The requested time window
  • The level of service and the mobility
  • The pickup facility and full address
  • The drop-off destination and full address
  • The patient count and the reference number for the request
  • Any notes the facility entered for the dispatcher

To the right of each card you have three action buttons — Confirm, Counter-offer, and Decline. There is also an Invite a Facility button at the top of the page that lets you bring a new hospital or nursing home into the system.
