When to deactivate

Deactivate a unit when it goes off duty for the day. The unit stops showing up in the active units table and on the map, and it can no longer be dispatched until you reactivate it.

Step by step

  1. Find the unit in the active units table on the dashboard.
  2. Open the ... actions menu on the row.
  3. Click Deactivate.

The Deactivate option only appears when the unit is idle. A unit that is currently on a call has to be cleared (back to Available) before you can deactivate it. You can also click Deactivate Unit from inside the edit modal when the unit's status is Available.

Does not delete anything

Deactivating a unit just removes it from the active board. The template is untouched, and every incident the unit ran today stays on record. Reactivate any time to put the unit back on the board.
