Two things decide whether you can start a lesson and whether it counts as done: prerequisites and completion. Here is how each one works.
Locked lessons and prerequisites
A few lessons build on earlier ones, so they stay locked until you finish what comes first. A locked lesson shows a Locked note on its card that lists the lessons to Complete first. Clicking a locked card does nothing until those lessons are done.
To unlock it, finish the listed lessons. The moment the last one is complete, the lesson unlocks and you can start it.
What it takes to complete a lesson
- A lesson with no quiz is complete once you have watched most of the way through it.
- A lesson with a quiz is complete once you pass the quiz. Watching the video is what unlocks the quiz, but passing it is what finishes the lesson.
How you know it is done
When a lesson is complete, it drops out of your Required Training list. Your agency admin can also see your completion on their Manage Training page, so finishing your assigned lessons is how you stay caught up.
Important: If a lesson will not let you start, check its card for a Locked note. You almost always just need to finish an earlier lesson first.
