How to get there

From the menu, click Incidents. In the list, click the internal incident number of the report you want to read. The detail page opens.

The header

The header shows:

  • The breadcrumb link back to Incidents.
  • The internal incident number as the page title.
  • A colored status badge showing the current status.
  • An Edit button that opens the form in edit mode.

The cards

The detail page is organized into a short stack of cards, each one showing a slice of the report in plain text.

Classification

The Classification card shows the incident types you selected, with the primary type marked, and any special modifiers.

Location

The Location card shows the address, the latitude and longitude, and the location use values.

Dispatch & Timeline

The Dispatch & Timeline card shows the internal CAD ID, the disposition, the times you entered (call create, call answering, on-scene arrival, incident clear), and whether the call came in through an automatic alarm.

Editing the report

Click Edit in the header to reopen the report in the form editor. From there you can change any field. The form autosaves as you type.

Danger zone

If the incident is still in Draft or Rejected status, a Danger zone card appears at the bottom of the page with a Delete incident button. Use it only when the report should not exist at all -- not for routine cleanup.

Creator metadata

At the bottom of the page you will see who created the incident and when. This is the audit footprint of the report.
