Facility Transport Hub can send text-message updates whenever something changes on one of your transports — but only if your phone number is verified. Verification is a quick one-time step.

Step by step

  1. Open the user menu and choose Profile.
  2. Find the phone number section. If your number is not verified, you will see a Verify button or a verify-now banner.
  3. Click Verify. The system sends a six-digit code to your phone by text message.
  4. Enter the code in the verification field and click Submit.
  5. Once the code is accepted, your number is verified and text-message notifications turn on for any events you have toggled to text in Notification preferences.

If the code does not arrive

Codes usually arrive within a few seconds. If yours has not after a minute or two, check that you typed the right phone number, then click Resend code to request a new one. Make sure your phone is on a network that can receive standard text messages.

Changing your number later

If you change phones or your number changes, edit the phone number on the same page and click Verify again. The new number is unverified until you enter the code, and text-message notifications pause until verification is complete.
