To request a medical transport, click New transport request on your dashboard. A form opens with several sections to fill in.
Pickup
Your pickup address is already filled in for you, since the system knows which facility you work at. Add a room or unit number if your dispatcher needs to know exactly where to find your patient.
Drop-off
Type the destination — a street address, a hospital name, anything Google Maps recognizes — and pick the matching suggestion from the dropdown. The full address fills in for you, including city, state, and ZIP.
If the destination has a specific room or floor, add it to the Room / unit field so the crew knows where to deliver your patient.
When
Pick the date, then pick a time window from the live availability picker. The picker only shows windows where your transport agency actually has a truck open, so the slots you see are the slots they can actually run.
Service level
Pick the level of service for the transport:
- BLS — basic life support
- ALS — advanced life support
- CCT — critical care transport
- Wheelchair — non-emergency wheelchair transport
Then pick the mobility — ambulatory, wheelchair, stretcher, or bariatric.
Notes for the dispatcher
Use the Notes field to tell the dispatcher anything specific about this transport — a special pickup gate, a preferred driver, a known medication concern. The dispatcher sees these notes in their inbox along with the request.
Submit
When everything looks right, click Submit request. The form closes and you return to your dashboard, where the new request appears in your Pending stat card and at the top of your transport requests table. Your dispatcher receives the request immediately.
