Every vehicle in Fleet Management keeps a running log of every service appointment it has ever had. The log lives on the vehicle row, one click away.

Open the log

  1. On the Vehicles page, find the vehicle.
  2. Open the Actions dropdown on the row and click View Service Log.
  3. A modal opens titled {Unit Number} · Service Log with every service appointment for that vehicle.
  4. Click Close when you are done.

What each entry shows

Each entry shows the service vendor (or "In-house maintenance"), the scheduled start, the status, the location, the expected completion, the actual start and actual completion times, the invoice total, any linked service request, any internal notes, and each uploaded invoice with its amount. At the bottom of the modal you see the lifetime service cost for the vehicle.

Tip: When a vehicle has a problem that seems like it might be recurring, the service log is the fastest way to check. If the same issue shows up in three visits, you are dealing with a pattern, not a one-off.
