Why timezone matters

Drug Tracking stamps a time on every checkout and inventory change. If the timezone is wrong, all of those times look wrong. A checkout you finished at 0700 local time might show as 1200.

Where the timezone is set

Your timezone is set once in Unified and applies to every Unified app, Drug Tracking included. It is not set inside Drug Tracking.

From the menu, click Settings. You will see your current Timezone listed with a Managed in Unified badge next to it. This is read-only here on purpose — changing it in one place keeps every app in sync.

How to change it

  1. From the menu, click Settings.
  2. If you are an agency admin, click Open Unified System Admin.
  3. Update your company timezone in Unified. The new timezone flows back to Drug Tracking automatically.

Who can change it

Only agency admins can change it, and only in Unified. If times look wrong in Drug Tracking, ask your admin to check the company timezone in Unified.

Tip

Set this once when your agency starts. You should not need to touch it again unless you move to a different timezone. Daylight saving time is handled for you.
