Once you are inside Checksheets, the main screen is divided into three areas that give you a clear picture of your work.

Start a CheckSheet

This area shows every published template your agency has set up. Each one is a checklist that you can start a new session from. For example, you might see "Engine Daily Check," "SCBA Inspection," or "Narcotics Count." Click the Start button on the card to begin a new session.

In-Progress CheckSheets

This area shows sessions you or your crew have started but not yet submitted, up to ten at a time. Each row shows the template name, the reference code, and when it was last updated. Click Resume to pick up where you left off.

Completed CheckSheets

This area shows recent submissions. You can see the template name, reference code, and when it was submitted. You cannot change a completed session from the dashboard.

The menu

The menu on the left gives you access to the rest of the app. You will always see Dashboard. If you are an admin for your agency, you will also see CheckSheets (the template builder) and Reporting. Your profile and Settings (admins only) are in the menu at the bottom.

A typical shift

For most crew members, a shift in Checksheets looks like this: sign in, check the dashboard tile, open Checksheets, start the morning truck check from the Start a CheckSheet area, fill it out as you walk around the rig, and submit it before you go in service. If you get a call in the middle, your session is saved automatically. Come back to it from the In-Progress area when you return.
