What the dashboard shows

The Inventory dashboard is the first screen you see when you open the app. It gives you a quick picture of your agency's stock in one place. There are several panels, each focused on a different concern. Most of the panels only appear for users with the Admin role. Crew members without admin access will see the Your active checkout panel only.

Active checkouts (admin only)

This panel lists every location that is currently checked out, who started the checkout, and when. A Manage link takes you to the Shift Checkout management page, and a Discrepancies link takes you to the discrepancies page. Each row has an Open button to jump into that checkout.

Your active checkout

This panel shows the checkout you personally have open, if any. Click Resume checkout to pick up where you left off, or Go to checkouts to start a new one. If you don't have anything checked out, you'll see a short message pointing you to the Shift Checkout page.

Par status (admin only)

The Par status panel has two tabs, Under par and Over par. Each card lists a product, the location where it sits, the par or max value, the actual count, and how far off it is. PAR is the quantity your agency wants to have on hand at that location, set on the location's template.

Items removed (last 7 days) (admin only)

This panel shows a simple bar chart of how many units have been removed each day over the last week. It's useful for spotting a busy day or an unusually quiet stretch.

Inventory expiring soon (admin only)

This panel groups lots by how soon they expire: 0-30 days, 31-60 days, and 60+ days. Use it to decide what to rotate first.

Using the dashboard each day

Make it a habit to glance at the dashboard when you start your shift. If you see items under par, you know what to restock. If you see lots expiring in the next 30 days, you know what to rotate first.
