Who can see this report
Reporting is only available to users with the Admin role in the company. If you do not see the Reporting link in the menu, ask your administrator.
What this report shows
The Template Compliance tab on the Reporting page compares the expected stocking levels from your location templates against the actual quantities on hand. It answers the question: are your vehicles, bags, and stations stocked the way they should be?
Reading the report
One row per expected item per location. Columns:
- Location
- Item — the expected product
- Par — the PAR level set on the template
- Min — the minimum from the template (available from the column toggle)
- Actual — the current on-hand quantity at that location
- Variance — shows In Range in green when Actual matches Par. A positive number in yellow means you are above Par; a negative number in red means you are below Par.
Worked example
You open the report and filter for a single vehicle, Medic 9. You see:
- Cervical Collars — Par 2, Actual 0, Variance -2.0 (red).
- Penlights — Par 2, Actual 1, Variance -1.0 (red).
- 4x4 Gauze Pads — Par 20, Actual 22, Variance +2.0 (yellow).
- Trauma Shears — Par 1, Actual 1, Variance In Range (green).
The two red rows need restocking first. The yellow row is over par — you can redistribute those two extra packs to another vehicle.
Using the report for accountability
Template compliance is a powerful tool for supervisors. Instead of personally inspecting every vehicle, you can pull the report and see which vehicles are properly stocked and which need attention. Over time, you can track whether compliance improves or declines.
Tips
- Run this report at the end of each shift rotation to catch problems before the next crew takes over.
- If a location is consistently non-compliant, the issue may not be lazy restocking — it could be that the template does not match actual usage. Adjust the template if needed.
- Pair this report with inventory checkouts for a complete picture. The report shows the numbers; the checkout documents who verified them.
