Who can manage this
The Settings page is only reachable for users with the Admin role in the company. Settings opens from the user menu at the bottom of the navigation.
What qualifications are
Qualifications are credentials, certifications, or training records that belong to your agency. In Inventory, you might use them to record who is trained on specific procedures — for example, handling hazardous materials or operating specialized equipment.
Creating a qualification
- From the user menu at the bottom of the navigation, click Settings.
- On the Settings sub-menu, click Qualifications.
- Click Add Qualification.
- Enter a Name — for example, HAZMAT Handling or Forklift Certified. Optionally add a Description.
- Click Create.
The new qualification appears in the table. The Users in Company column shows how many of your users currently hold it.
Editing or deleting a qualification
Each row has a pencil icon to edit the name or description, and a trash icon to delete the qualification. Deletion asks you to confirm.
Assigning qualifications to users
Qualifications are assigned from a different page. On the Settings sub-menu, click Users, then edit a user and pick the qualifications they hold.
Worked example
Your agency stores bulk oxygen cylinders, and you want only trained personnel to handle them:
- On Settings → Qualifications, create one called Oxygen Cylinder Handling.
- On Settings → Users, open each trained team member and add that qualification to their profile.
The Users in Company count on the qualifications table shows how many people are cleared for that task.
Tips
- Keep qualification names short and clear. Use names your team already uses rather than inventing new ones.
- Qualification names must be unique within your company.
